Peak Solar Wind Speed (km/s):
Date of first appearance of coronal hole in EUV at east limb:
Note: Sudden increase in solar wind speed from 400 km/s to 500 km/s, eventually reaching sustained speeds of 570 km/s. Simultaneous sudden increase in temperature, which remains elevated. Accompanied by a steady increase in density, which remains elevated. Source is a large coronal hole, spanning from N30 to S10, and about 20 degrees of longitude, seen crossing central meridian on 2025-02-25.
